ELIZABETH M. COYLE-CAMP, Managing Director, CIPR

ELIZABETH M. COYLE-CAMPAfter seven years in front-line TV and radio with BBC Radio 4 in London and Standard Broadcasting and the CBC in Canada, Elizabeth held senior communications positions with the Automobile Association and international payment systems group GiroVend before founding E=MC2 Public Relations in 1992.

She has developed and implemented strategic communications programmes and policies for all types of organisations, from FTSE 100 and Fortune 100 companies, to start-up businesses, SMEs and government agencies.

A specialist in crisis communications, public speaking and media training, Elizabeth holds a BA (Hons) in English and Drama from Queen’s University and a Masters in International Journalism from City University. A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, she is a keen artist, musician and Western horse rider in her spare time.

GORDON SORENSEN – Director

Gordon SorensenGordon comes from a chartered accountancy background. After 10 years with leading accountants Price Waterhouse in Canada and the UK, he co-founded E=MC2 Public Relations with Liz Coyle-Camp in 1992.

As a director of E=MC2 he handles the finances and helps with business strategy and quality control, and gets involved with the preparation of clients’ annual reports.

Gordon holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in Canada and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is a director of Cathedral Communications Limited which publishes information for the building conservation and heritage industry in the UK. He is also the treasurer for Tisbury’s Nadder Hall.

RAGAN BEALE – Account Director

Ragan BealeRagan has developed and directed PR campaigns for a wide range of clients generating trade, national and local media coverage. Specialist areas include affordable housing, architecture, building services and food service. She has extensive experience in crisis and issues management and in the production of client magazines, case studies and marketing brochures.

An NCE-qualified senior journalist, Ragan worked for eight years on regional newspapers and in the press offices of two national charities before joining E=MC2 in 1999.

She has a BA (Hons) in English from Girton College, Cambridge. Away from the office, she loves walking and compiles cryptic crosswords for a national newspaper website.

CANDICE BEALING – Office Manager

Candice BealingCandice joined the E=MC2 team in June 2004 after completing a BA (Hons) in English combined with Psychology at King Alfred’s College, Winchester.

With extensive knowledge of local, regional and national press, as well as industry trade publications, Candice’s varied role includes co-ordinating photographers across the UK, issuing press releases and liaising with journalists for the rest of the team. She is often the first point of contact for E=MC2’s clients.

In addition, Candice monitors press coverage, assessing the impact of E=MC2’s media campaigns.

ARTHUR – Team Fitness, Health & Safety

ArthurArthur, a border collie, gave up a promising career in sheep-herding and modelling on the dog-walk for the cut-and-thrust of the PR world.

Since joining E=MC2 in 2008 as a pup, he has become the team’s fitness guru, security guard and stress-management expert.

“I take people on brisk walks twice a day,” barks Arthur. “I find it’s a good way for them to improve their fitness, stay slim and most importantly, refresh and recharge their batteries.”

In his spare time, Arthur enjoys shredding paper, chasing sticks, being patted and rounding up people.
